Loaned Equipment
The Foundation maintains an inventory of
specialized equipment that can be loaned to a
child's family for as long as there is a need. We
have developed this program using both donated
and purchased equipment using guidelines from
ourAdvisory Board members (comprised of
physicians, nurses, therapists and social workers)
and from our experience working with grant
requests for fifteen years. Examples of
this equipment include: prone standers for
increasing leg and hip strength; positioning chairs
that allow the child to sit for extended periods for
play or study, strollers, feeder seats and other
equipment. Overhead costs are kept low through
the generosity of a corporate sponsor who
inventories, maintains and delivers this equipment
for the Foundation.
