About the Foundation
For nearly 18 years, our Foundation has assisted
approximately 400 families per year with grants of equipment, by
sharing items for rehabilitation and referring families to partner
organizations working to meet a variety of challenges for medically
fragile children.
The ages of children we aid range from birth to twenty-one but the
majority of the children we serve are between two and ten years old. It
is a privilege for our staff and volunteers to assist families through two
programs that help them bridge the gap between what insurance and
governmental programs will cover and what they truly need to thrive.
Healthcare Grants Program:
The Foundation provides critical equipment to safely move a
medically fragile child without injuring them or their caregivers such as

The Foundation staff is comprised of a
full time Executive Director and
Development Director and a part time
program coordinator. Dedicated
volunteers who assist with
administrative and fund raising projects
supplement the work of the staff. An
Honorary Board. Advisory Board and
community Board of Directors guide the
Foundation's policies and operations.

Families may receive one Healthcare Grant of equipment and up to
two pieces of loaner equipment per year, for as long as the
equipment is helping the child achieve his or her therapeutic or
quality of life goals.
