The parents or legal guardians of any medically fragile child age 21 or younger whose primary legal
residence is in Georgia may receive an application for assistance. Applications may be requested
by calling the Foundation at 770-951-6111.

I have been meaning to send a quick note to personally thank Fragile
Kids for providing our family with such wonderful service and support
over the past few years.
As a busy parent of a child with special needs, I can't tell you how
comforting and helpful it is to have a resource that is easily
accessible and that treats families with great care and respect.
Over the past few years, Fragile Kids has granted our son with two
pieces of durable medical equipment and has loaned us several
pieces of equipment. This has allowed our son to progress in several
areas that he might not have had the opportunity to do so otherwise.
The staff at Fragile Kids has always been extremely helpful, prompt
and professional. I can't say enough good things about Fragile Kids
and the positive experiences we have had with them.

How decisions are made regarding assistance
The Review Committee, composed of physicians, nurses, social workers, and occupational and
physical therapists, reviews applications and makes decisions based on medical need and
availability of funds. The Foundation reserves the right to deny, or limit assistance based solely on
its subjective judgement.
